The Door County Tradition of a "Fish Boil" lives on with the Fitzgerald family. North Atlantic Cod boiled in traditional outdoor kettles for that one of a kind mouthwatering taste that has made them legendary.
It starts with boiling fresh potatoes and whole onions, outdoors over a wood fire. Then they add in fresh cod to each batch, and as they stir the boiling kettles, they keep adding wood to the fire and simultaneously grill their locally famous BBQ chicken. Fitzgerald's honey barbeque sauce is a well kept family secret that has been passed down through generations with a sweet whiskey base.
