Fireside Chat
Mayor Richard Hill & CPAH Senior Staff:
Robert Anthony, Mary Ellen Tamasy, & Kim Ulbrich
Tuesday, March 12th, 6:00-7:30 PM
The Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center hosts regular Fireside Chats, through which the Village of Round Lake Beach brings county, state, and federal officials closer to local residents. The evenings begin at 6:00 p.m. with a Meet and Greet, followed by an informal conversation between the featured guest, Mayor Hill, and guest moderators from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Residents have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session from 7:15 to 7:30 p.m. Coffee and desserts are provided, compliments of the Village.
On January 30th, join us to learn about the newly-established Community Partners for Affordable Housing, a nonprofit organization that merged three long-standing agencies with distinct housing services into a stronger and more sustainable organization for the future. Effective January 2019, CPAH will offer Lake County residents and municipalities an array of housing services including rehabilitation of distressed housing, development of new affordable units, loan programs for home purchase and home improvement, and homeowner education and counseling. Our panelists include CPAH’s senior staff team: Robert Anthony, Mary Ellen Tamasy, and Kim Ulbrich. Discussion will include the unique challenge of merging three well-established organizations and how communities and residents can avail themselves of CPAH’s valuable housing programs.
